Here is my problem, when I type sccinit simply got the prompt again.
No errors, no messages, no logs, and a second call to sccinit are
exactly like the first, without complaints. That is why I'm going mad!

The sccinit that come with z8530drv-2.4c has the Id string:
RCS_ID "$Id: sccinit.c,v 1.7 1995/11/17 01:10:17 jreuter Exp jreuter $"

A missing /etc/z8530drv.conf file don't generate any error.
I've checked the sccinit source, and the config file is opened
with: fp = fopen(CONFIGFILE,"r"); , but after this isn't checked
if was sucessfully.

Althought if I write strange characters in /etc/z8530drv.conf
sccinit complains about these correctly.
After adding some printf's I'm sure sccinit are being executed.

But I noticed that /usr/src/z8530drv-2.4/sccinit byte size are
greater than /sbin/sccinit, being both the just rebuilt executables.
Why happens this?

A message like above are what I was expecting to read in the log
like before I upgraded!

I even removed the board, and its the same.
