I have attached the node.perms & node.conf files I'm using. I fooled with
the .perms file extensively. It appears to function correctly. If I set a
password in it, the node prompts me for a password. Using axparms I
associated my username to my call with a diffeent ssid. No difference! I
telnet to the linux host, execute /usr/sbin/node, lets me in just fine.
Outbound netrom connect yields me the following error:
c thvh
LinuxNode} connect_to: bind: Permission denied
Could this be a file permissions or ownership problem; ie: not setuid or
stickybit, etc?
System is Pentium 233, RH6.0 kernel-2.2.12-20, libax25-0.0.7-1,
ax25-tools-0.0.5-1, ax25-apps-0.0.4-1, and node-0.3.0-1, all from rpms on
RH6.1/powertools.
Needless to say I'm clueless for a solution:-(
