ok, so what if I want a good recorder card, no humms from the PCI on
recording? I want to start copying my old vynils at some points, and I
had bad experiance with most cards of the SB variety. another option is
recording from the optical line in (and use the SDC on my reciever).

so which card is recommended for clean recording, or supports recording
from optical in on linux?
