nadav, i think you got what you were asking for. there are quite a few mailing lists and forums for linux in israel. 'linux-il' is just one of them. the reason that it has this name is historic (you may call that a short-sighted decision - but using a different name back then, would have been quite presumpteous).
linux-il's policy was, and still is, that mailings should be sent in english. _because_ of this policy, some people who do not speak hebrew, managed to get involved with the list. if you don't like it - move to an only-hebrew mailing list. you can try to change the system from within, but you should not try to force your opinions on _this_ community (which, again, is not "the single israeli linux community"). just for the language wars - there is no shame in hebrew, contrariwise - i like hebrew much more then i like english, and i assume many people on this mailing list feel the same (don't jump, i said 'many', not 'most', not 'all'). and still, i find it comfortable to use english here, and in other mailing lists. i seem to have more respect for the hebrew language then you might give me credit for. i still have the choice to use english when i find it more suiteable. when you bash people (like you bashed nadav harel) - you're giving bad service to your point of view. why would he bother working on hspell, if he is "ashamed of using hebrew" ? now, let us calm down, and avoid losing our tempers. i have tried to refrain from using personal insults on this letter - i hope you can do that too in your reply. -- guy "For world domination - press 1, or dial 0, and please hold, for the creator." -- nob o. dy ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
