I was wondering, maybe I can just add the & sign to the sendmail
command line?  Will it work?  If this line is executed 121 times from
my script?

Here is the line:
        $tmp_mail_command= '/usr/sbin/sendmail -f ' . $tmp_email . '
' . $tmp_addresses_clone[$tmp_random] . ' > /dev/null 2>&1';
