Hmm, after checking a bit more, it seems that in apps like xterm,
konsole, it works well.

However, in applications like Firefox, when I'm using rich text editor
(like in wordpress editing), the CTRL key doesn't activate the
shortcuts unless I'm in english (us) mode.
