Do you have stats about traffic volume? Any change in patterns?

My first though is about I/O - can you measure how much of this time is
spent waiting for I/O (disk, bus, memory)?

Does SA takes full advantage of your CPU? How about allowing it to use only
two-three of your cores and leaving the other ones for LAMP?

All this is generic advise, I don't have experience with SA and this is
independent of the SA-specific tuning advise others supplied.
