Thanks for your reply, although it turns out that I did not really need
to ask the question since I now checked and found that SecureBoot is
already disabled.

solomon@solomon:~$ mokutil --sb-state
SecureBoot disabled
Platform is in Setup Mode

I assume this may be important to people with a dual-boot system or
people who migrated from an existing Windows installation and did not
change the BIOS/UEFI Settings.
