the idecd driver in the kernel 2.2.12 which ships with
RH 6.1, cant handle CD drives above 48X. There seems
to be a bug in it. I faced some probs. with some of
the 2.3 series... i couldn't fix it tho... try kernel
2.2.14, i think that has the bug fixed.
