I have a 52x, on secondary master tho. when i cat
/proc/ide/hdc/driver , the output is :
(none)
which AFAIK, means that it couldn't get a driver to
initialise my drive. The drive works in later kernels,
tho. and btw, i've got a HP CD IDE CD writer. it reads
CDs fine in doze, but it doesn't do it in linux. I
think i've gotta do some more tweaking to get that to
write CDs in Linux.
Nikhil.
