Just tell him to get the specs from windows as to what the card is or best if u
have a driver floppy as most of them have then u find the specs from there and
then modprobe the respective driver for that .
And to make it permanet use linuxconf ---- > basic host info to configure it so
that it can edit the "/etc/conf.modules" file.
