Nah, benchmarks are for marketing driods who can't understand
intrinsic pros and cons, nor describe them to others, so need to
propagate a number which is the lowest common denominator. I have yet
to find a benchmark which tells me how well a system/software does in
a real world scenario.
If ``real world'' isn't a oxymoron when referring to computers :-)
