I always get these kinda funny problems !! Now i dont know whom
to contact also... If any 1 in this list had the same problem / if any one
know
some other list which discuss similar problems , please advice on howto do ...
I have a NT machine with ISDN modem attached .. ( Ace 128K)
I was and am successfully connected to all ISPs (VSNL, Mantra ..)
Now I tied this... I set up a RAS machine and gave that telephone no in the
new phone book entry. ( the new RAS server is connected to a normal modem
and a normal telephone line)
Problem :
when I click dial after few secs it give out this error : "No Answer "
(but it is connecting to 172222 , 172315 etc.. )
it is not even ringing at this end.
I opened Hyper terminal and typed atdt <mynumber> it said No Carrier
(but again connecting to 172315.)
Next i made ISDN modem side a RAS server and tried to connect from
normal modem side.. I could see the line activating in ISDN modem(which shows
the call has reached ISDN modem side) After some time it give the error "
There
was no response " :-(
