I was having a conversation with Ravi, (not sure if he's on this list) for
installing wvdial on my box running Red Hat 6.0 :
[12:42] <ravi> 5. cp /mnt/floppy/*rpm /root
[12:42] <ravi> 6. cd /root
[12:42] <ravi> 7. rpm -Uvh wvd*.rpm
This gives me:
error: wvdial-1.41-3.i386.rpm cannot be installed
error: cannot open file .rpm
I definitely downloaded the file, wvdial-1.41-3.i366.rpm - from somewhere I
can't remember, into a floppy and then copied into the RH machine.
Can someone please help ?
