Hi All!

Here is a bit of stuff that I'd like any one of you gurus help me out! I want to allow
any normal user establish the ppp (dialup) connection so that he can browse the web
from my linux box. So, I set the SUID bit on for the /usr/sbin/pppd. I'd like them to
use wvdial (not kppp). But as a normal user I get

...Device or resource busy, can not open /dev/ttyS0

whenever wvdial wants to connect. My modem is connected to /dev/ttyS0. I have done a
"chmod 666 /dev/ttyS0" as a root, but the problem remains.

So, how to set up such a config? Any help will be most welcome.

Madhurjya
