Hi,
I have a problem with my server running redhat 6.2. When I type my login and
passwd, the system comes back to the login prompt displaying killed on the
terminal. Then I tried to login as root.No luck. When I rebooted the system,
it complained that there is some problem in the kernel and asked me to enter
the root passwd for repair. When I did that, I was able to get to the etc
directory. Now I want to see the log messages to find out the last login. But
in /var/log there is no files at all,empty. Now I don't know where to start to
find the reason for this any remedies.Can some body through some light on this.
