Hi,
can't get the DFE-538TX configured. Means when I compile the rtl8139.c file
they shipped with it I get a lot of compiling errors although I think I've
provided everything this driver needed (also tried to compile the latest
driver I found on the net). I did a http and ftp search on the net for the
rtl8139.o but only found the one for kernel version 2.2.x. This one is not
accepted by insmod /modprobe - says that it is for the older kernel and he
won't accept. Does anybody know where to get the rtl8139.o file for 2.4? Or
can anybody send it to me please. I'm not to sure if can use a driver which
somebody else compiled on his system, but if it works it would be great. I'm
running SUSE 7.1 and for any reason yast craches when I try to install it
with it. I also couldn't find the driver on the CD. If somebody knows that
the compiled driver is on them I would be thankful for the path.
