Hi
i had tried that , but the ftp sites asks for user login & password before the
software can be loaded.
Any other ideas ??

OTOH i have always envied the debian people for there apt-get script. But
after going through the rpmfind utility, i find its pretty fabulous. It
can actually come out with the exact rpm i need based on some keywords i
give, not only that, it can give the best ftp server for that purpose
together with expected time for download. I believe it can even switch
servers in case of congestion. Pretty neat ( and possibly neglected ) i
should say.
on 2nd thoughts this should have been a separate thread.
