I have Aureal Vortex 8810 Sound Card on my system. I install PCQLinux 7.1 on my system
having Kernel 2.4.4-2.
When I run sndconfig my sound card is detected but on next screen it shows me that
this sound card is not supported on Linux. I also downloaded the Aureal Vortex drivers
for Linux 6.1 having kernel 2.2.13. But the driver is not working on PCQLinux which
have update kernel. Alsa also detect my sound card when I update my kernel to
2.4.3-12.
I will be pleased if anyone could provide me driver for my sound card or could
suggest some method by which my sound card could run on currentkernel.
