Regarding lost lilo
If you havent made a boot diskette, you are in trouble, right?
WRONG
Get hold of XOSL
from www.xosl.com of course,
Its a small free software that you have to install through your windows DOS
PROMPT.
Configure it and you will THANK ME
Please note: If you hadnt installed lilo on the first sector of the boot
partition, we are still in trouble.
Exactly on which partition is your linux / installed?
Someone who has installed linux on the same partition might be able to
provide you with an image of his/her boot disc.
