Hi, I want to use kernel 2.0.38. I have been able to build it. But when I try to boot, it fails saying that Kernel panic, unable to mount the file system due to optional features at 03:01. I have selected ext2 and proc filesystem during the build and am building it in Redhat 6.2 environment. My eth card and harddisk are detected.
What can be the reason and what do I need to do ?
