Hi, On a hunch downgraded fetchmail. Problem solved. What led me to it was the identical behaviour of fetchmail under debian and slackware. So, I suspected it to be a version problem and reinstalled fetchmail 5.5.6 (earlier it was 5.9.3). As the session below shows, it is working again.

So, is this a bug? If the gurus feel so, should I file a bug report? How do I go about it? -- Sridhar M.A. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Rome wasn't burnt in a day. _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
