Hello all:

My /home is now 2.2 % non-contiguous. /home is on a separate partition.
Day before yesterday suddenly the HDD showed errors. I then booted from
a tomsrtbt boot floppy and run fsck.ext2. Now the HDD is working fine.
Is there any problem in having 2.2 % non-contiguous space. How can I
remove the non-contiguous space. How far the defrag in Linux effective.

With warm regards
