Nope. Shouldn't have any major problems. Ext2 isn't prone to the 
fragmentation that affect 'doze filesystems and so, you don't have to do a 
defrag. There's however, a defrag utility available for ext2, but I think 
it's only experimental and not really to be used. The best thing to do 
would be to move your home partition to another disk/partition, and then 
copy it back.
