Dear All, We are in the process of selecting one of the many versions of Linux available for development of application which is going to be Graphic intensive (Small modules for Geographic Infomation System).
We zeroed on two Linux software Red Hat and SuSe For graphics tool we are wondering on the following: KDE/Qt Although it comes with Redhat do we have to pay for using it? Do we have to pay for deploying applications developed using KDE/Qt? Is this platform wel tested and tried? GTK/GDK It is supposed to be free i.e. no fees, no deployment issue etc. Is it true? TCL/TK ??? Any Help??? We are also looking for persons in and around Delhi whom we can get in touch personally for guidance and reference. Thanks.
