I tried ftp'ng to a linux machine running RH 7.1 from a Windows Machine(Win2k) in a LAN setup. I am unable to understand why does it take a very long time to ftp to the linux box from a win 2k m/c. It shows "Connected ..." for a long time and then finally connects. Any Help? Thanks, SUJAY
