So far so good, but as they say all good things have to end :-(

Did you use the -msinfo flag with cdrecord ? (actually this step is
somewhat superfluous). Also, for the second iso, it must be in a nested
folder. Do take a look at README.multi, though it is somewhat archaic.

I had similar problems, working with cdrecord on the console, though I
could actually see the new tracks if I looked in xcdroast. Even the
latest version of xcdroast or gcombust do not support multisession CDs.
There is a program called KonCD which is supposed to be able to burn
multisession CDs, but it requires KDE 2.2 atleast.

Short answer, No. I rtfm'd like I have never rtfm'd before because
multisession CDs is the only feature that was remaining in my full-time
use of linux. I went to Jorg Schilling's site. Read thru it back to front.
I even wrote to him but as I said in my earlier mail, he replied with a
one liner which went somewhat like this -- "You have hit a kernal bug, I
cannot help you".

Seems he had some disagreement over the inclusion of drivers other than
those written by him in the 2.4.x kernel. He refuses to modify his code in
cdrecord, so it seems you can forget multisession CDs in linux, atleast
under a 2.4.x kernel. But Rajesh if you are running woody, why don't you
try it under the 2.2.19 kernel that comes with woody? Let us know if that
works. It will be an added incentive for me to take the final leap into
debian.

What I do know is that Doc Nagarjun at HBCSE from lug-bom said he could
burn multisession CDs merely by using the -multi flag. I aslo know he runs
debian. I will ask him and revert.

regards,

Sharukh.
