Seems to be free, and also seems to be available on the 'net. The
first reasonable page I found was in Deutsch:

  http://www.soft-ware.net/multimedia/video/kompression/p02148.asp

I /can/ read enough German to figure out the license:

  Lizenz: Freeware

and the codec list:

* Coder & Decoder OpenDivX V4.0 Alpha 48 (Project Mayo)
* Coder & Decoder DivX V3.2 (3.11Alpha + Scene detect patch)
* Coder & Decoder DivX WMA Audio V4.2 (Standard)
* Coder & Decoder MPEG-Layer 3 Audio V4.2 (Professional)
* Decoder fr AC3 Audio V2.2
* Coder & Decoder KS MPEG-4 VKI (fr ASF/DivX Conversion)

:-) Unzip into /usr/lib/win32/ (create if necessary), if you get a
subdirectory move all the files from there into win32, and symlink all
the files to their lowercase versions (e.g. Mpg4ds32.ax ->
mpg4ds32.ax). Now when you recompile MPlayer it should detect the
codecs automatically. You may need to copy
Mplayer-0.60/etc/codecs.conf to ~/.mplayer/

HTH.
