The SB Live card will work in linux without any problems. In RH, run "soundconfig" which will autodetect the card and add relevant lines to /etc/modules.conf. You can also use the ALSA drivers for the sound card (which is supposed to give better performance than the kernel drivers, but I haven't tried them yet). The sm56pci modem has a driver available. But it doesn't support the newer versions of the linux kernel. Search for it on Google.
