Hi,

First of all, thanks a ton for all the replies to my music editing
software query. I am trying out Gnoise and Bcast and they are pretty good
even though I would love to see some improvements :-)

I have heard that XWin32, a software for the Windows environment allows a
Windows user to connect to a Linux server and import the whole desktop
(via XDMCP ?). The computer lab here at college has a few servers which
support that.

I wanted to know how to make my machine such that I can use
XWin32 and connect to it from a Windows machine. Right now when I try to
do the same, it doesn't allow the connection to be made. VNC is possible
but I find it horribly slow. Oh yeah, I am running RedHat Linux 7.2 on my
machine. (Tried FluxBox today, have given up KDE, saves memory :-) !)

- Farhan.
