Better if you did it from BIOS. Now you have a lilo that doesn't boot. Anyway boot from rescue disk/boot disk and restore the system. And try all APM changed in BIOS. Not in lilo. I don't know how exactly kernel reacts to such APM directives but I always sfound it better to play with it from within BIOS..
