Hmm.., that I had not thought abt !
I am not sure, but the site with Java, servlets & ASP etc may not work with
3.x setup I think. Am not Web page expert, Bish may comment on this
authoritatively, since he has used 3.x .

I have a little complaint abt you "big" guyes there. All of you claim that
either you people or some-one known to you have develped a Linux Distro with
smaller foot-print or with some useful functionality. But small timers like
me can never see the end results or experiment with these Distros. Why ?

If most of us praise for FREE software movement, then why should we not make
these Distros available to other Linux enthusiasts ? OK , it is not
practically possible to upload/dnload these much MBs on the net, but there
is an alternative...

The developer may burn a couple of CDs of his/her project locally & make it
available with the local Book Shop-wallah & declare the details up here, on
LIH. The CDs can have a price tag of say 70 - 100 bucks, which includes 20%
shop-keeper's margin and 10% developers overheads.

The interested user can order it to shop-keeper by MO/VPP etc. If the CDs
are not sold, the developer can donate them to his/her friends. Most of the
advanced LIH memebers can afford such a small sacrifice, I think !
Or a group of members can burn the CDs of their developed software
collectively.

( I hope I am not too much impractical. ;-) )

Thanks Ashwin, I had forgotten Opera, I am happy abt it on Windo, should try
on Linux.

PS: Bish had also shown some interest in my request of a single floppy
"Linux for the road" Distro. Though he never talk in the air, but I do'nt
know what happened to that project. My mails abt this to him at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] got rebounced back !
