This refers to software that our group developed to trouble shoot our 
setup.  They are software designed to be run by totally computer-unaware 
users to diagnose and, hopefully, fix problems.  For example, if they 
are unable to print, this tool will run a few tests to see where the 
problem might be (is the print spooler running, is the printer on, what 
does the log say etc.)

I'll have to clear it up with the non-profit.  Will let you folks know
