That would be a month or so of mails, roughly(not considering every eye candy 
going in /var, like mysql/postgres databases, syslog, apache log, mail log 
etc.. You will run in space crunch as well.. may be that is..).. 

See if that suits you.. And if most of the people are not going to move 
around, get them pop.. No point having last years mails on imap.. 

Provide them imap but tell them to pop the mails ASAP..
