I ran Startx , the screen went blank and then a got loads of messages things like ... Keyboard input : Legacy Driver .. .. Configured Mouse :protocol PS\2 .. Added Mouse to screen. ...
and finally i get Waiting X Server to shutdown, then it aborts and i am back to the shell prompt. Initially i was getting generic Mouse messages plus the Waiting ot Shutdown Xserver so i modified the XF86config using xf86Config and dexconfig utility the way i felt best suited. Now the Generic Mouse messages are gone but the Xserver one remains. I am still stuck. Thanks Anuroop On Thu, 27 Jun 2002 Arvind wrote : >| Hi Friends >| >| I am a newbie on linux.
