Man! I seem to have stirred quite a hornet's nest with that mail. Believe me, that was not quite the intention. I am not a geek! Far from it! I like to fool around with Linux, I am not averse to helping people when I know what to do and sometimes ask questions when I am stuck. Working on restricted bandwidth has sometimes created a situation wherein although something urgently needs to be done, I cannot go through reams of useless information thrown up by google to get the one tiny piece of help that I require. To that end, Arvind, I have also asked questions and been bashed by the geeks, who, not quite understanding my basic internet inaccessibilty, have advised me to RTFM, etc. Nothing wrong with that, although sometimes I wish they were more friendly. What I am trying to tell you, Arvind, is this. The issue here is not Suresh or Raju or Arvind or (he who goes by the name of) Linux Rockz. We are all advised at various points to RTFM or to do something as basic as that. My issue with you is not that you do not RTFM. I don't always do that either. My issue is that you react so strongly and unnecessarily 'catty' (if you get what I mean) when someone tells you to RTFM or (as in this case) someone 'geeky' has been clumsy enough to not read up. I hope that clears the air and more than anything I hope the thread stops here. Raju and Arvind especially, any of you others as the case may be, forgive me if I have overstepped or trodden all over you in this or my previous posting.
