hmmm, as the person responsible for that, let me add that no harm was
intended, but the question was out of place on this list, and if someone was
so naive, what better way to learn. when i first stuck my neck out in this
forum i was told to RTFM and i didn't even know what it meant. The person who
told me to RTFM later told me the meaning of it and today is a good friend of
mine. Nevertheless i do apologise for causing you any pain and to the naive
fellow for having a little fun. I would hate to imagine what would have
become of the guy had he to post the same question on the mutt user mailing
list.

errr, if he had a willingness to learn, he would have tried contacting the
webmaster of rediffmail.com, he would have read up a bit. to use a .forward
file, one does need some sort of shell access, fire up any browser and see
that it's not there with rediffmail.com. question answered before it is even
asked.

i agree with the rest of what you had to say. i just wanted to set the record
straight.
Once again, please accept my apologies.

p.s. i hope to God i'm not put on moderation for this. It's causing major
deja vu.
