Well, only problem is the file system metadata. By definition, hard link is a file that has same inode as some other file. Now if two disks are in RAID, share same FS metadata you can not call them two partitions.. I think there is some confusion between partition and file systems... The OP wanted to span them to different FS IMO but obviously that's impossible. Don't beat the technicality of different HDD..
