I have tried cdrdao to copy the VCD and this works wonderfully. I first configured the system for SCSI emulation of the CD-Drive, and then used the command: $ cdrdao copy --source-device 0,0,0 --source-driver generic-mmc-raw \ --device 1,0,0 --driver generic-mmc-raw and I got a perfect copy of the CD in the source drive. I also aliased the above lengthy command to 'cd-duplicate', and this has made my job easier.
