I too have a similar setup, but the mo.bo. is from asus and ram is 128mb
ddr. After this thread, I played tuxracer again and did not find any
problems that you mention.

I am using the nvidia drivers 1.0.4191. May be that is the reason. In
fact, with the older version 1.0.3x, I could not even get X to run on my
machine.
