Oh yeah? RedHat's RHCE certification is valid for the current release plus two more releases. Thus, someone who got certified in RedHat 7.2 will see her certification expiring when 9 is released. Considering that 7.2 was released in Oct 2001, her certification was valid for a period of 18 months.
