Hello Vinubalaji,
     Thanks for the help. I did as you told me and I was successful. I
     have got my lilo boot loader up and running. Is there any way in
     which I could disable the graphical Menu of LILO boot loader and get
     a text menu like "boot: " ? In fact I miss that text based menu that
     was there in redhat 6.2.
