Normally it should not be . But in practical use, If a person is online 8 hours a day and getting a lot of e-mails etc. then he will definately gets virus like MyDoom-A2 etc.
In a network, where all users are thinking that Updation of Antivirus, cleaning of systems etc are the Job of IT Deptt. then IT person can skip the downloading etc. You can say that we can schedule the same in the System, so system will automatically download and check the system for virus. Bwhen this activity is in action, the speed of the system is get slow, result user skip the routene, and get infected the machine. [S K Goel] Is bandwidth requirment OS dependent?
