So, how do I use the cylinders between 1293 and 5168?? What HDD utility will recover my 30GB?
WAG.. Rather than copying the disk, create identical sized partitions and copy the partitions individually and set the boot loader if required..
might do the trick..
I think MBR is dead on new disk. Needs correct parameters there for fdisk to operate I believe..
And that was one hell cool trick.. network backups.. here you go..:-)
