I am using redhat linux 9.0. Is there any limit for the max size of the file that it can handle.
I am using 2.4.20-8smp kernel, with ext3 file system in all partitions.
debugfs shows block size is 4096(4K). AFAIK it can handle large files. The files i handle are >2G. its working fine.
I running MySQL 4.0 in my machine. And i have a load of data to put into MySQL. Before doing that i wanted to ensure the size limit of a single file.
Anybody there handling MySQL in a large scale?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
