Honestly - I don't remember exactly, but I think it was a simple virtual [shared] hosting account. This was about a year ago...a client had a site hosted with them and what we needed to do was simply point the homepage of the website to another site. After talking to their support for about a week to make this happen and learning that they won't do this using an HTTP redirect and they won't let us change the A record to point to another server, we gave up and helped the client migrate out of there.
I wasn't directly handling the case, so I am a bit sketchy on details.
