I am running Debian with postfix, procmail, fetchmail, spamprobe.

Mails are being downloaded but are geting stuck in the queue and finally
are bieng bounced with this error message:

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Command time limit exceeded: "procmail -a "$EXTENSION""

This is from a mail being returned to LIH because it could not be
deliverd to my mailbox. Of course the mail is also bounced back because my
smtp smarthost requires pop-before-smtp or else LIH and the other lists I
am subscribed to would probably kick me out :).

some mails do make it to my mailbox but they are very few.

What am I doing wrong ?

I have configured postfix the usual way using Suresh's website. Smtp
transfers are deferred and dns lookups disabled.

I have a similar setup on RH 9 working with the same changes to main.cf.

thanks.

Sharukh.
