Stupid questions:

1. Did you configure squirrelmail by running its configuration perl
script (in Debian this is squirrelmail-configure) to specify the
remote IMAP server's type (courier, cyrus, UW) and IP address?

2. Is PHP working on the web server?

3. Are cookies being blocked by your browser?

4. Do you see anything in the apache log files?

5. Do you see a connection coming from the web server to the IMAP server?
