I have configured nagios, following line to line steps from the nagios documentation. Though my nagios -v nagios.cfg, doesnt give me errors or warnings, i m getting the following errors if i run nagios start/stop/restart/reload. <Quote> Error: Cannot open main configuration file '/usr/local/nagios/bin/start' for reading! Warning: Cannot open log file '/usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log' for writing Nagios 2.4 starting... (PID=11018) Warning: Cannot open log file '/usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log' for writing Warning: Cannot open log file '/usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log' for writing Bailing out due to one or more errors encountered in the configuration files. Run Nagios from the command line with the -v option to verify your config before restarting. (PID=11018) <UnQuote> I have done been googling out for quite a long time now, but couldnt get much help.
