Dear LINUX users,
I wanted to restrict my clients in Squid using MAC addresses through ACL.
What are the steps to followed/written in squid.conf.
When I define an ACL by giving MAC address of any machine and try to apply
changes in Squid then the following error appears:

Failed to reconfigure squid :

2006/09/01 10:44:10| aclParseAclLine: Invalid ACL type 'arp'
FATAL: Bungled squid.conf line 1838: acl eth_access arp 00:c0:26:2d:b7:32
Squid Cache (Version 2.5.STABLE9): Terminated abnormally.

I also read the squid.conf, it is mentioned that before using 'arp' first
enable it by --enable-acl-arp but I do not no where to write this line.
please suggest the solution for this.
Thanks,
K Singh
